I think the US should go metric, because then important international researches and studies would be much simpler (without having to transfer all the measurements from standard to metric).

Yes, I think we should. It's much easier and it'd make things easier for people from other countries who are used to the more common system to understand.
No because so many already know how to use the system that the U.S. uses and it would be hard for people that have know and used for such along time to adjust.
Yes! It would be so much easier if we just started using the metric system, because everyone else in the world uses it. Then we wouldn't have to be the only country that's using something else. It would make science and math easier.
Yes, because it's a lot easier to use the metric system because all other countries use it and if someone from another country came to the US it would be easier for them. It is also easier to remember.
Yes, because everyone else in the world uses it, why don´t we? The metric system has an acronym that always helped me. King Hector Died Drinking Chocolate Milk. Killo Hecto Deka Deci Centi Milli.
on one hand, the metric system is nice because it's base ten, so it is easier to convert units within the metric system. However, the standard system is more prominent in music, so being used to the standard system may help people understand music. So i really think that it's a matter of preference and what your using it for.
I think we should convert to the metric system because it easier to calculate, and every other place in the world uses it so you wouldn't have to convert everything
Yes the U.S. should go metric because then we would have common units with he rest of the world and then we wouldn't have to convert units when we go to different countries.
Yes, because then we wouldn't have to convert from standard from metric. It is easier for everyone especially on us. If you plan on working out side the US you will have to know the metric system.
Should we?

ReplyDeleteYes, because we are the only country in the world that uses the measurement of the old queen of England's arm!
ReplyDeleteNO because it would be difficult to convert every thing.
ReplyDeleteNo Because by changing to metric we would have to relearn math
ReplyDeleteNo because so many already know how to use the system that the U.S. uses and it would be hard for people that have know and used for such along time to adjust.
ReplyDeleteIt will make things easyier
