    1. I think the US should go metric, because then important international researches and studies would be much simpler (without having to transfer all the measurements from standard to metric).

  2. I think so because it'd be easier and we'd be just as cool at the other countries.

  4. I think we should because then every country would understand and use the same system.

  5. Yes, I think we should. It's much easier and it'd make things easier for people from other countries who are used to the more common system to understand.

  12. Ya because every else uses it and if you know how to then you can get your measurements anywhere.

  13. YES!!! The whole world uses metric and we just complicate our selfs with conversion charts and stuff. It would make life so much easier.

  14. NO WAY!!!!!! because metric system is hard and i already learned the us system in like 3rd grade

  15. Yes ! Of course, everyone but the U.S. uses the metric system. Were loners...

  21. Yes because all of the other countries are metric, and if anyone went to another country, it would be easier to get around.

  22. Yes, because we are the only country in the world that uses the measurement of the old queen of England's arm!

  23. NO because it would be difficult to convert every thing.

    ReplyDelete
  24. No Because by changing to metric we would have to relearn math

    ReplyDelete
  25. No because so many already know how to use the system that the U.S. uses and it would be hard for people that have know and used for such along time to adjust.

  26. It will make things easyier

    ReplyDelete
  27. no we should not because everyone is already used to what we use now

    ReplyDelete
  28. yes, it will make everything a lot easier

  29. Yes, because the rest of the world uses Metric.

    ReplyDelete
  30. yes because everyone else has one.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes because then every country would use the same system. And I understand the Metric system more than I do the one we have now.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yes! It would be so much easier if we just started using the metric system, because everyone else in the world uses it. Then we wouldn't have to be the only country that's using something else. It would make science and math easier.

  34. Yes because most other countries are using the metric system and it's easier to teach/learn.

  35. Yes, because it's a lot easier to use the metric system because all other countries use it and if someone from another country came to the US it would be easier for them. It is also easier to remember.

  36. Yes, because everyone else in the world uses it, why don´t we? The metric system has an acronym that always helped me. King Hector Died Drinking Chocolate Milk. Killo Hecto Deka Deci Centi Milli.

  37. Yes because most other countries use the metric system. It would be easier to trade with them and we would have to convert to the metric system!!!

  38. on one hand, the metric system is nice because it's base ten, so it is easier to convert units within the metric system. However, the standard system is more prominent in music, so being used to the standard system may help people understand music. So i really think that it's a matter of preference and what your using it for.

  39. Yes, Then we would not have to convert and we would be the same as everyone else all over the world.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Yes, then the majority of the world would be using the same units.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think we should convert to the metric system because it easier to calculate, and every other place in the world uses it so you wouldn't have to convert everything

    ReplyDelete
  42. Yes the U.S. should go metric because then we would have common units with he rest of the world and then we wouldn't have to convert units when we go to different countries.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yes, because then we wouldn't have to convert from standard from metric. It is easier for everyone especially on us. If you plan on working out side the US you will have to know the metric system.
